Welser profiles lift weights in record time

Our customer invested their vast knowledge and experience in high performance systems in to the recent new development in storage and retrieval machine technology and is now bringing the third generation of mast profiles on to the market.

Welser Profile was involved in both the first and second generation, having supplied mast profiles to the storage and retrieval system manufacturer for fifteen of the twenty years in which the two companies have been in contact.  The Welser profiles form an integral part of the new design of the new third generation, which comprises a single-mast crane with a maximum working load of 100kg that can reach up to twelve metres in height.

The thin material and reduction in material in the cross sectional area contribute to a consistent cost saving of these special profiles made from high strength, galvanised steel.  With a maximum lift acceleration speed of 3 m/s² and a maximum lift speed of 3 m/s, this is the new generation in high performance automated storage and retrieval systems for a wide range of application areas.  The quality of all supplied profiles is ensured using a special device.  This device simulates the process and ensures the dimensional accuracy of the contact surface and the assembly.
